Overall I was not satisfied with my stay at The Alexander, the property it self looked abandoned, several Lift drivers drove right past the property because they thought it was closed. We asked for more towels and wash clothes and were refused, as if we had to use the same towels over and over. Also the pool was really nice but getting to the pool was like we were entering a scene from a scary movie!I also think it's ridiculous that the management company charges for towels if makeup is on them, women use make up and make up does wash off of towels and wash clothes. I will not be staying at the Alexander when I return to Miami!!

The communication with HORA was excellent. The staff at Alexander was excellent as well. The concierge really took care of us!

The food at Shula's, the pool bar and restaurant and the buffet breakfast at the Garden Terrace were all excellent and reasonably priced. Loved the omelets, streaks, burgers, and avocado salad.

The room Itself was just ok. It was clean and decent size. The beds looked old and the unit overall was mediocre - especially when compared to the unit just across the hall which was lovely and much more updated.
The eating area, master bedroom and living room is the newest looking.
The biggest issue are the thin window panes - you hear everything outside. Great views and great beach! Older building in general.

Also keep in mind it is North Beach so the real activity is in South Beach - a 30 minute can ride away. Treat yourself to Lapis Spa (10 min can ride) - fabulous!

The apartment was absolutely lovely and accommodated my family of 7 very comfortably. If there was a problem it was taken care of immediately. The pool area is great, good service for food and drinks at the pool, towel service, beach access great. The only problem was proximity to a grocery store. Otherwise our stay was delightful.

This year I celebrated my 38 birthday, and my friends and I decided to take a quick trip to Miami! I went online to search for the perfect rental property that could accommodate a group of 8. I was instantly drawn to "1620!" I was the first to arrive to the unit and was happy that the description and photos were an accurate representation! The unit was big enough to accommodate 8, yet cozy enough to feel like home. The only issue we encountered was a lack of towels. This was quickly, and easily rectified with a quick email. Housekeeping immediately brought up more than enough extra towels! I was very happy with our stay, would quickly stay again, and would happily recommend this property to anyone!

Our unit was everything we hoped for. The layout was perfect, the unit was lovely and the views were beyond expectations. In fact, the whole experience was outstanding. We have worked with Hora for the past 4 years and they always offer thoughtful service and great units. 1620 in The Alexander is not to be missed!

My stay was amazing the place was beautiful and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was that there was a leak from the ac coming from the ceiling and also there were not enough towels. But the views were great the valet service was quick the staff was very helpful and friendly

I rented this Condo for the weekend with 4 friends to celebrate my Bachelor party in Miami Beach. The condo is located on the 16th floor which is right below the penthouse. Great View!, Awesome and very helpful staff. This property is not in walking distance to South beach, Lincoln Ave, or Ocean Dr. so be prepared to spend some money on taxis. It might be better to just rent a small vehicle. Overall I would definitely rent again.
