The apartment was fine. But the building has a lot of construction. The balcony was gone and there were workers on it at 9AM each morning. There was no access to the balcony and the windows were dirty due to the construction so there was no Ocean view. The apartment was clean inside and the furnishings were nice.. The vacation would have been fantastic except for the construction

Hora was amazing to work with. We had a few problems with our unit but they were extremely helpful in resolving all of our issues. They went over and above to keep us happy. The building is under construction wish is why some things are scored low.

There was construction going on in our specific condo during our stay. We were not bothered, I just wish we would have gotten a heads up about the construction before paying for a whole weekend. Don't let the pictures of the balcony fool you, there is NO balcony as of now. Overall though, we had a GREAT time. This condo was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect amount of beds and three bathrooms, which is great when you have a large group of people. The location is great. Right on the beach and the pool/bar staff are so incredibly nice.

My 1st visit to Miami was here about 8 years ago. Not much has changed minus the massive renovations. Overall the condo was good because it accommodated my group of 13 comfortably it was enough room to spread out. However, I was really disappointed we didn't have use of the large terrace and couldn't open any windows. The room was as pictured. The AC was difficult to regulate the unit was like a freezer when we arrived and the back bedrooms it stayed cold even when we adjusted the temp on the control so opening a window would have helped. The shower in the master is a bit awkward you have to get in to turn water on and it gets extremely hot the toilet in that bathroom was leaking so the floor stayed wet. Maintenance had to come twice to what appeared to be large buckets of plaster out of the storage closest in the unit which I thought was odd and intrusive Furniture was modern and nice beds were comfortable, dining table was large however its on wheels an moves a lot when people are seated. The biggest let down was the construction/renovations going on very unpleasant to look at and hear also walking through the service area to access the pool was hot and felt like a basement. Limited seating with umbrellas because only one pool was open seating in the grass was full on bugs on the chairs and the tables not comfortable to sit or eat there and umbrellas not allowed on grass which made it challenging for me with a skin condition need to be in the shade. Food and drinks are great at the pool. Theres no dinner option at the condo restaurant only open for breakfast. Would only recommend after renovations are complete.

We had so much fun in Miami and truly enjoy staying at the Alexander 807-09. The condo has more than enough room for everyone to feel at home and have privacy we needed. This will be the place when are staying on the next trip back!

Booked this earlier this year (Feburuary) for a stay in late July. Had no idea there was construction going on while we were there. Even worse - the construction was on our balcony. We had workers coming in and out of our room where our valuables were stored. We did have a cooler stolen from our room which was reimbursed by the manager. The room was very outdated and the main area had a fishy smell coming from the vents. We had asked one of the workers about it and they seemed to know about it but did nothing to fix it. We found the odor extremely foul. The internet did not work anywhere in the suite. All of the toilets were on pedestals - very awkward. We spent time at the pool when we arrived - the bartender by the pool made terrible drinks - they were supposed to be frozen but were not. Overall, I would rate this place between 1-2 stars. I would not recommend it to a friend. While the location wasn't bad and the management did reimburse us for the stolen cooler and offered us early check in and late checkout- it did not make up for all the negative things we had experienced while staying.

Overall the the rental experience was beautiful. Mark's response to all my many questions was accurate and on time. The unit itself was comfortable and spacious for my family members. Construction surrounding the living space was the only down fall. Once the renovations are completed the space will be exceptionally beautiful.

I enjoyed my stay with Hora Management and would stay there again. However, I was surprised to see that there was construction going on on the balcony attached to the room I rented. It would have been nice to receive some type of compensation for the inconvenience.

This unit was under construction DURING our stay. Half the balcony is missing. The other half is exposed rebar and debri. Look at the main picture, now at the 1st wall on the balcony imagine the other half of the balcony ALL OF THAT GONE and no barrier preventing an 8 story drop. That was the unit rented to us. The floor was filthy in the unit. Most likely from the construction going on right outside the Balcony door! We couldn't enjoy the Miami sunshine because we had to keep all the drapes drawn. There were construction workers right outside the windows! Literally jack hammering on the unit balcony, units next to us, and above us. For 8 hours a day for 2 of our 3 day stay. Owner SHOULD NOT BE RENTING THIS UNIT. All the balcony furniture was stacked up in the living room, taking up space. The location is beautiful, and we escaped the horror by going to the beach and pool. But had we known the ACTUAL UNIT was under construction, we never would have rented it. When the owner was notified they offered us a 6 person unit for one night. There were 10 of us in our party!! They knew in advance and should have provided alternative accommodations PRIOR to our arrival. Not AFTER our compliant. If I could I would upload the pictures taken. What you see here, IS NOT THE UNIT CURRENTLY FOR RENT! I wish I could give my stay NEGATIVE ZERO stars. They refused to refund us. I'm filing a compliant with VRBO.

We were happy with the location.

The rental was clean

The management (Mark) and maintenance staff (Leslie) were awesome!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We had a group of nine and we never felt crowded.

Cons:
The description of the rental advised about the construction but it was extremely loud during the day. The first two days we had no access to the balcony due to construction. On the 3rd day of our stay part of the balcony was opened but it was covered with dust. But the balcony access in the bedroom was still unavailable. It would have been nice to enjoy time on the balcony. There are strange electrical issues throughout the back end of the rental. The light switches in the room turned on lights and fans in another room. We called maintenance to connect the cable in one room and look at the light issues. Although they were unable to fix them they were responsive and quick. The rental could use some updates. The washer/dryer is old and the beautifully pictured bathroom fixtures in the main bathroom shower do not work.

Pros:
This place is beautiful, clean, comfortable, homey and very accommodating for large group vacations. We had a tropical feel, relaxed but fun stay. It was important to me to find a space that could accommodate us all with a common living area and have a kitchen that we could gather together in rather than being separate. Yet enough room for privacy in rooms and bathrooms without ever feeling cramped. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Highly recommend for large groups and would use this rental again in the future (or at least Hora Mgmt.)! Aside from the cons we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gives a very summer/Miami feel and great for groups! Location is great! Close to everything if you drive or take an Uber, which was inexpensive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The construction that is currently happening would have been nice to know about. We had no access to the balcony, and then when we did have access it was covered with dust and construction. Although with all of this, everyone was very helpful and helped with a late check out because of the issues with the balcony.

7 friends getting together for a long weekend - we had a fantastic time. The building is currently being renovated, but that was of no concern as we were at the beautiful beach and pools for most of the day. Lovely apartment; helpful staff; clean facilities. Highly recommendable!

I was very satisfied with my choice. Everyone loved it. Clean and plenty of space. The only issue was the rollaway I was supposed to have was not there. It worked out because the 15th person only stayed one night. Also I could not find any extra linens to use for the futon, but we worked it out. Overall it was fantastic, I would definitely like to come back. The management staff was very helpful, always responded in a timely manner. Thanks
